Melyssa majored in psychology at Toronto's York University, and was a member of the university's debate team. While working part-time as a barmaid at a local nightclub, she was "discovered" by music video director Little X.

Melyssa was soon appearing in some of the hottest videos by hip-hop and R&B's biggest names, including Jay-Z's "Big Pimpin," Jadakiss' "Knock Yourself Out," Ghostface Killah's "Cherchez La Ghost," Mystikal's "Shake Ya Ass," 112's "Anywhere," and Sisqo's "Thong Song Remix." This exposure led to work in print media, and offers to appear in magazine layouts began pouring in.

A feature in XXL helped land Melyssa a job hosting Lifestyles of the Phat and the Phabulous, an Internet show produced by Harve Pierre, Bad Boy Entertainment's Vice President. With a couple of suitcases and $25 in her pocket, she left Canada behind to relocate to New York City. Ford supplemented her income by tending bar at such NYC establishments as Justin's, a restaurant owned by P. Diddy.

In the summer of 2000, Melyssa appeared in the opening episodes of the Showtime series Soul Food, playing "Hoochie Mama" in the two-parter entitled The More Things Stay the Same. She moved on to a small role as Deborah in Turn It Up (2000), an action flick starring rappers Ja Rule and Pras.

In 2001, Melyssa was featured on the cover and in the pages of Black Men magazine's Swimsuit Extra issue. She was one of Ebony Rider's Calendar girls for their 2002 edition, and was also selected to grace the sexy calendar's cover

Melyssa expanded upon her burgeoning modeling career after Smooth magazine learned of her minor in English Literature. While the publication initially wanted her to appear as a model for a monthly column, Melyssa's education paid off when they gave her a monthly relationship and dating advice column in 2002. As resident sex-pert "Jessica Rabbit," her features have become one of Smooth's most popular attractions.

In 2003, Melyssa made a guest appearance on the UPN series Platinum. Her official website, www.melyssaford.com, was launched in December 2003. Released with the help of MBK Entertainment, the same team that manages soul diva Alicia Keys, the Melyssa "Jessica Rabbit" Ford 2004 Calendar and DVD have already sold thousands of copies to eagerly awaiting fans.

In March 2004, Melyssa hosted BET's How I'm Livin' series. She currently has several projects in the works.

Leila Arcieri is an American actress and model. In an era where blonde haired white girls dominate the entertainment industry, Leila's unique beauty has contributed to her consistent success. A product of an Italian Father and African-American mother, Leila's exotic look is simply mesmerizing.

Arcieri spent the better part of her childhood in Sebastopol, located in California's wine and redwood country, a far cry from the glitz & glamour of the Hollywood lifestyle.

Another point of interest is that shyness was a major obstacle in Leila's life, one that she tried to overcome by throwing herself into high-school cheerleading. The plan obviously worked, because soon thereafter she was out and about, and is now a much more extroverted and self-assured person.

Although her obvious good looks and Hollywood connection -- her mother now works for Lucasfilm -- made her a prime candidate for the spotlight, Leila initially opted for a career behind the scenes. Upon graduating from high school, she moved to San Francisco, where she dabbled with both graphic designing and photography before becoming a make-up artist.

However, upon being crowned Miss San Francisco in 1997, it was only a matter of time before Leila would find herself permanently in front of the camera lens. In fact, her repertoire as a model/actress grew rather quickly, appearing in both commercials -- including 1-800-COLLECT and Starburst -- and in music videos with the likes for Boyz II Men, and Q-Tip.

Such work eventually brought her to the attention of writer-producer Tim Stack, who thought she would be perfect for his new series, Son of the Beach, a parody of Baywatch. Arcieri won the role of Jamaica St. Croix, thus allowing her to break onto the acting scene. That same year Leila was selected as the Coors Lite Beer 2000 Spokesmodel, and quickly solidified her position as a hot commodity within the industry.

In 2005, Leila was voted #65 on Maxim Magazine's Hot 100 list. She is currently engaged to actor/comedian/musician Jamie Foxx.

Dawson was born and raised in New York City to a father of Native American and Irish descent and a mother of Puerto Rican and Afro-Cuban ancestry. Her film career began unexpectedly when filmmaker Larry Clark saw her on a Manhattan street and asked her to be in a movie he was making. The movie, Kids, became a critical success and Dawson's performance was commended.

As a result, Dawson decided to pursue an acting career and attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Dawson has worked steadily since her debut, with a mixed amount of commercial and critical success. With performances in films like Kids and Sin City have been critically praised, her performances in the films Josie and the Pussycats, Alexander and The Adventures of Pluto Nash have been ripped to shreds by critics and the public alike. (The latter has been listed by many notable critics as one of the worst films ever made.) 1 2. To date, she has worked with such critically acclaimed directors as Oliver Stone, Robert Rodriguez, Chris Columbus and Spike Lee, and costarred with the likes of Will Smith, Edward Norton, Adam Pascal and Clive Owen.

Most recently, Dawson has recieved publicity and acclaim for her portrayal of the HIV-positive, heroin-addicted, gentle and loving Mimi Marquez in RENT, the Original Motion Picture. It was her first role in a film musical. A few months prior to the release of Rent, Dawson appeared on stage as Julia in the Public Theatre revival of Galt MacDermot's 1971 musical "Two Gentlemen of Verona" at the Delacorte Theatre in Central Park, New York (August-September 2005).

Dawson has been described by fans and staff as being extremely 'kind' and 'down to earth', and is noted for her friendly and sociable attitude during public appearances.
