My Babes List (#76)

#76 Katherine Heigl

Katherine Marie Heigl (b. November 24, 1978) is an American actress, best known for her roles on the TV series Roswell and Grey's Anatomy.

Early life

Heigl was born in Washington, D.C. to parents Nancy and Paul, of Irish and German descent; she was raised a Mormon. The family moved to New Canaan, Connecticut a short time later. Tragedy struck her family when her older brother Jason died in 1986 of brain injuries suffered in a car accident. He had been thrown from the back of a pickup truck, and doctors determined Jason was brain-dead. Despite their grief, the family decided to donate his organs. This has motivated Katherine to become a strong proponent of organ donation.

Career

When she was nine years old, an aunt visiting the family decided to take a number of photographs of the young Heigl. After returning to her home in New York, the aunt sent the photos to a number of modeling agencies, all with the permission of Katherine's parents. Within a few weeks, Heigl had been signed as a child model.

Almost immediately, a client slated her for use in a magazine advertisement. Television jobs soon followed, the first in a national spot for Cheerios breakfast cereal. It was not long until she landed her first big-screen debut in the 1992 movie That Night. After meeting such fast success and enjoying her new-found career, she realized that acting was her passion.

Heigl then appeared as Christina Sebastian in Steven Soderbergh's Depression-era drama King of the Hill before landing her first leading role as Nicole in the 1994 comedy My Father The Hero. During this time, Heigl continued to attend New Canaan High School, balancing her film and modeling work with her academic studies.

She then played opposite Steven Seagal in the role of Sarah in the 1995 action thriller Under Siege 2: Dark Territory. Despite an increased focus on acting, she still modeled extensively, appearing regularly in magazines such as Seventeen. She took the lead role in Disney's Wish Upon a Star in 1996. It was also in 1996 that Heigl's parents divorced. After her high school graduation in 1997, she and her mother moved into a 4-bedroom house in Malibu Canyon, Los Angeles. Heigl's mother then became her manager.

In 1998 she co-starred with Peter Fonda in a re-working of the classic Shakespearian play The Tempest, set during the American Civil War. Later in 1998 Heigl was featured in the 1998 films Bug Buster and Bride of Chucky. In 1999, Heigl turned her attention to television when she accepted the role of Isabel Evans on the science fiction TV drama Roswell, a modest role that was expanded in the show's second and third seasons.

To publicize her role on Roswell, she appeared on the covers of magazines such as TV Guide, Maxim, and Teen as well as appearing in FHM. She later appeared in the FHM and Maxim calendars and FHM's annual 100 sexiest women in the world. While Roswell was in production, Heigl worked on several films, including, 100 Girls, an independent 2001 film in which she played competitive tomboy Arlene, and Valentine, a horror film starring David Boreanaz and Denise Richards in which she played medical student Shelley Fisher.

In the spring of 2001, Heigl accepted a role in Ground Zero, a television thriller scheduled to be telecast that fall, which was based on the bestselling novel, The Seventh Power, by James Mills. She co-starred as a brilliant and politically-concerned college student who helps to build a nuclear device to illustrate the need for a change in national priorities, but which ends up in the hands of a terrorist following betrayal by a fellow student. After the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, however, the film was shelved when its plot was considered too inappropriate, and it re-emerged in 2003 under the title Critical Assembly. After the terrorist attacks, Heigl recorded a passionate public service announcement for the American Red Cross in an effort to help raise money for victims.

In early 2003, Heigl returned to the horror genre with Evil Never Dies, a modern-day variation on the Frankenstein story co-starring Thomas Gibson. She played the role of Eve, the professor's assistant whose intentions are unclear. Love Comes Softly, a telefilm for Hallmark Entertainment in 2003, found Heigl starring in the role of Marty Claridge, a young, pregnant newlywed travelling west. In October 2003, Heigl was cast opposite Johnny Knoxville, as the leading lady in The Ringer, a Farrelly brothers comedy that was later released in December 2005. Heigl was then cast as Isabella Linton in MTV's modern revamp of Emily Brontë's classic novel Wuthering Heights.

Heigl was cast in the role of Romy in the 2005 movie Romy and Michele: In The Beginning, a prequel to the 1997 movie, Romy and Michele's High School Reunion. Heigl is currently starring in Grey's Anatomy, a medical drama on ABC.

Personal life

Heigl is dating singer Josh Kelley.

My Babes List (#75)

#75 Shania Twain

Shania Twain, OC (born August 28, 1965) is a Canadian singer and songwriter who has been very successful in the country and pop music genres, setting several sales records for female artists and for country artists.

Early years

Born Eilleen Regina Edwards in Windsor, Ontario to Sharon and Clarence Edwards, she grew up as Eilleen Twain in Timmins, Ontario, after her parents separated when she was two, and her mother remarried to Jerry Twain, a full-blooded member of the Ojibwa First Nation.

At the age of 13, Eilleen Twain was invited to perform on CBC television's Tommy Hunter Show. During high school in Timmins, she was the vocalist for a local band "Longshot" which covered Top 40 music. When her mother and adoptive father died in a car crash on November 1, 1987, Eilleen took her two younger brothers, Mark and Darryl, and sister Carrie-Ann to Huntsville, Ontario, where she supported the family by performing at a local resort (Deerhurst resort). In 1991, after an entertainment lawyer (Dick Frank) from Nashville, Tennessee heard her act, she was invited to record a demo tape.

In 1991, when she signed her first recording contract with Richard Frank of Mercury Nashville Records, she changed her name to Shania (pronounced shu-NYE-uh) which is an Ojibwa word meaning "I'm on my way". Her step-father was a full-blooded Ojibwa and remained an important influence in Shania's life. Twain's embrace of her adoptive Ojibwa heritage has at times been reported to be controversial among Canadian First Nations, with some disagreement about whether a non-Ojibwa adopted by an Ojibwa parent can be considered a true Ojibwa. Shania Twain responded to such criticism by saying, "I don't know how much Indian blood I actually have in me, but as the adopted daughter of my father Jerry, I became registered as a 50% North American Indian ... That is my heart and my soul, and I'm very proud of it." [1]

The city of Timmins later renamed a street for her, gave her the key to the city, and built the Shania Twain Museum (Shania Twain Centre), which Twain visited in 2004, as shown on a CTV special.

Massive career success

Initially known as a country singer, Twain herself found her 1993 self-titled debut album unsatisfactory as she was forced by her record company to work with outside songwriters. Nor did it please the public, gaining little sales and no real chart action for its singles. Twain immediately felt alienated from the Nashville music scene.

Everything changed when rock producer Robert "Mutt" Lange heard Shania's original songs and singing and thought she held promise. He offered to produce her and to write songs with her. After many telephone conversations, they met in person at Nashville's Fan Fair in June 1993. Soon their professional relationship took a romantic turn, and they were married on December 28, 1993.

With Lange's influence, Shania's music then veered a bit more towards pop. Her vocal performances strengthened by virtue of singing only the material she and Lange had written, a practice she would continue from this point on, contrary to typical Nashville practice. Her second album, 1995's The Woman in Me, caught fire due to singles like "Any Man of Mine" and "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?". The album eventually topped the country charts for months and became a massive crossover to mainstream charts, peaking at No. 5 and topping out at 12 million sold. The Woman in Me went on to win the Grammy Award for Best Country Album as well as the Academy of Country Music award for Album of the Year; the latter group also awarded Twain as Best New Female Vocalist.

In 1997, Twain released her follow-up album, Come on Over. Selling 172,000 out of the gate and peaking at No. 2, the album was seen by many at first as a disappointment, given the massive success of her last effort. But slowly, the album started racking up sales. It never hit the top spot, but with the multi-chart hit single "You're Still the One", sales skyrocketed. Songs like "Don't Be Stupid", "Honey, I'm Home", "Man! I Feel like a Woman!", "That Don't Impress Me Much", and "From This Moment On" joined the 11 songs that eventually saw release as singles. Over the next two years, the album stayed on the charts, spinning off hit after hit. When the dust finally settled, Come on Over had sold 20 million copies in the United States and 39 million worldwide, making it the biggest-selling album by a female artist of all time, the biggest-selling country album of all time, and the No. 6 selling album of all time. Songs from the album won four Grammy Awards over the next two years, including Best Country Song for Twain and Lange for "You're Still the One" and "Come on Over" and Best Female Country Performance for "You're Still the One" and "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!".

There were several keys to all this success. The songs on Come on Over were full of memorable phrases and catchy hooks, rendered well in Twain's singing. Lange's hard rock production techniques from his work with Def Leppard and others proved surprisingly effective in the country/pop context. And many newer fans were totally unaware of her country music roots, particularly as versions of singles released to non-country radio in North America and around the world featured remixed versions de-emphasizing country-style instrumentation.

Twain's mainstream pop acceptance was further helped by her appearance in the 1998 first edition of the VH1 Divas concert, where she sang alongside Mariah Carey, Céline Dion, Gloria Estefan, and Aretha Franklin, and by VH1's 1999 heavily-aired Behind the Music treatment of her, which concentrated on the tragic aspects of her early life as well as her physical attractiveness and Nashville's early resistance to her bared-midriff music videos. In 1999 Twain also established a visible commercial relationship with Revlon cosmetics, based around "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!".

In 1998 Shania Twain launched her first major concert tour, aided by her manager Jon Landau, a veteran of many large-scale tours with Bruce Springsteen. The shows were enthusiastically received by audiences around the globe and answered critics who speculated that she could not perform live. Twain's peak of success was further emphasized when she was named the 1999 Entertainer of the Year by both the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association. (In the latter case, she is one of only five solo women to win the award, the others being Reba McEntire, Barbara Mandrell, Dolly Parton, and Loretta Lynn.)

Life at the top

After taking time off and having a child in 2001, Shania Twain went back into the studio. Up! was released in November 2002, making it five years since the world had new material from her, and she toured again to promote it. A double-album, it featured 19 songs in pop mixes and the same 19 songs in country mixes. Internationally the country mixes were replaced by world music mixes, such as Bollywood elements. Though it garnered some of the most tepid reviews of the year (it was even called the worst album of 2002 by Spin and Details magazines), Up! debuted at No. 1, selling 874,000 in the first week alone. It charted at the top for five weeks. The first single off of the album "I'm Gonna Getcha Good!", became a modest pop and country hit, while the follow-up single "Up!" failed to do as well. However the third single off of the album would be the most successful: the romantic ballad "Forever And For Always" was released as a single in April 2003 and peaked at No. 4 on the country chart and No. 1 on the AC chart, spending 6 weeks there. "She's Not Just A Pretty Face" was a country top-ten hit but failed on other charts, while the last single, "It Only Hurts When I'm Breathing", debuted on her fifth TV special Up! Close and Personal, performed even worse. To date, Up! has sold 11 million physical copies in the U.S., 21 physical copies worldwide (which by RIAA rules for double albums, are counted as 11 million units in the U.S. and 21 million worldwide) — impressive marks by normal standards but considered a disappointment by some relative to Come on Over. Because Up! is a double album, it thereby achieved Twain's third straight diamond album, which entails sales of over 10 million units; this was another record for a female artist of any genre.

In 2004, she released the Greatest Hits album, with four new tracks. To date, it has sold over three million copies in the U.S. The first single, the multi-format duet "Party For Two", made the country top ten with Billy Currington but the pop version with Sugar Ray lead singer Mark McGrath failed to make an impression outside of airplay charts. Two further singles did not do much on any chart, although "Don't!" was featured in the film An Unfinished Life and "I Ain't No Quitter" represented a partial return to traditional country idioms.

In spite of her songwriting abilities and her massive commercial success, Twain has never garnered overwhelming critical praise. Some pop critics and fans see her as almost a robot, controlled Svengali-like by Lange and wonder why her dramatic upbringing is rarely reflected in her lyrics. Some Nashville traditionalists still consider her a pop singer who simply markets her music as country. The most negative factions view her as just a gorgeous studio mannequin with a so-so voice, who got lucky and simply was in the right place at the right time. For example, infamous country outlaw Steve Earle called her "the highest paid lap dancer in Nashville." In interviews Twain has defiantly rebutted all of these assertions. [2]

Twain lives in La Tour-de-Peilz, Switzerland with Lange and their son Eja; she states that living so far away gives her the privacy she would otherwise lack. As an alternate retreat, she has also recently purchased Motutapu Station near Wanaka in New Zealand, a 170 km2 sheep station where she hopes to build a house.

On August 28, 2005, she celebrated her 40th birthday. In August 2005, she released the single "Shoes" from the Desperate Housewives soundtrack; it failed to make much of an impact, barely getting into the top 30 on the country charts and not charting elsewhere. It was the first single Twain recorded that she had not written herself; no music video was made and the record label stopped promoting it.

A television biopic of Twain, Shania: A Life in Eight Albums, aired on CBC Television on November 7, 2005, with Meredith Henderson starring as Twain.

In 2005 Twain would add a commercial relationship with COTY [3], for the creation of her fragrance Shania by Stetson [4]. Around the same time, Twain appeared on an episode of the reality show The Apprentice, riding horses around Central Park and having dinner with two contestants who had successfully marketed her fragrance on the show.

On November 18, 2005, Twain was invested as an Officer in the Order of Canada. [5]

#72 Anna Kournikova

Anna Sergeyevna Kournikova (Russian: Анна Сергеевна Курникова, Ánna Sergéyevna Kúrnikova; born June 7, 1981) is a tennis player. She is one of the best known tennis players, especially among those who do not follow the game. Anna was born in Moscow, Russia to Alla and Sergei Kournikov; her family later emigrated to the United States, and she currently resides in Miami, Florida.

Tennis career

Anna dazzled the world at age 13 and 14 in international junior tennis, winning several tournaments including the 1995 Italian Open. Anna Kournikova was 14 years old when she ended 1995 as Junior European Champion U(nder)18 and ITF Junior World Champion U18.

Kournikova debuted in professional tennis at age 14 in the Fed Cup for Russia, the youngest player ever to participate and win. At age 15, she reached the fourth round of the 1996 U.S. Open, only to be stopped by then-top ranked player Steffi Graf.

Anna was a member of the Russian delegation to the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1997, as a 16-year old, she reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon. 1998 was her real breakthrough year, she entered WTA top 20 for the first time and scored several victories over worlds' then-top players, including Martina Hingis, Lindsay Davenport and Steffi Graf. Kournikova's first of two Grand Slam doubles titles came in 1999 at the Australian Open in the Women's Doubles event with partner Martina Hingis, with whom she played frequently. Hingis-Kournikova team proved effective and they were popular with audiences; they dubbed themselves as 'Spice Girls of tennis'.

Kournikova proved a successful doubles player on professional circuit, winning sixteen doubles titles, including two Australian Opens and being a finalist in mixed doubles at the US Open and Wimbledon, and reaching #1 in doubles in the Women's Tennis Association tour rankings. Her career doubles record was 200-71. However, after 1999 her singles career plateaued, and whilst she mostly managed to retain her ranking between #10 and #15 (her career high singles ranking was #8), expected final breakthrough failed to occur; most importantly, she only reached a WTA singles final four times in 130 tournaments, and never won one. One contributing factor might have been was that she tended to enter high-profile, prestigious events with strong fields of elite players. As a player, Kournikova was noted for her excellent footspeed and aggressive baseline play; however, her flat, high-risk groundstrokes tended to produce high amount of errors and her serve was notoriously unreliable. She had a record of 209-129 as a singles player.

Her final playing years were marred by string of injuries which saw her ranking and confidence gradually erode. Kournikova has not played on the WTA tour since 2003, but she still plays exhibition matches for charitable causes. In late 2004 she participated in three events organized by Elton John and by fellow tennis stars and good friends Serena Williams and Andy Roddick. She played for Tsunami relief January 2005 with John McEnroe, Andy Roddick and Chris Evert.

Anna was also a member of Newport Beachbreakers in the World Team Tennis (WTT) competition in July and November 2005, playing doubles only. In November 2005 she teamed up with Martina Hingis, reviving the 'Spice girls of tennis' once again, playing against Lisa Raymond and Samantha Stosur in the WTT finals for charity. In her 'Elle' column July 2005 Kournikova stated that if she were 100% fit she would like to come back and compete again.

Media publicity

Much of Anna's fame -- more, many have argued, than she ever gained in her tennis career --has come from publicity surrounding her personal life as well as numerous modelling shoots. During her debut at the US Open 1996 at age 15, Kournikova got noticed and soon pictures of her appeared in numerous magazines all over the world.

A number of her relationships with other celebrities, including romantic involvement with pop star Enrique Iglesias (in whose video, Escape, she appeared) and with hockey star Sergei Fedorov, have featured prominently in the tabloid press. Photographs of her scantily-clad form have appeared in various men's magazines, including a much-publicized Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and other popular publications such as FHM and Maxim.

Kournikova was named one of People's 50 Most Beautiful People in 1998, 2000, 2002, and 2003. She has also been voted "hottest athlete" and "hottest couple" (with Enrique) on espn.com and "sexiest woman in the world" by FHM readers (2003). By contrast, ESPN -- citing the degree of hype as compared to actual accomplishments as a singles player -- ranked Anna 18th in its "25 Biggest Sports Flops of the Past 25 Years".

Kournikova had a small role (as a motel manager) in the 2000 film Me, Myself and Irene, starring Jim Carrey.

#71 Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson (born November 22, 1984) is an American actress.

Early life

Johansson was born in New York, New York. Her father, Karsten Johansson, was born in Denmark; her mother, Melanie Sloan, comes from a Bronx-bred Jewish American family. Her religion is unknown today. [1] Johansson's maternal ancestors originally came from Poland. The granddaughter of screenwriter and director Ejner Johansson and the sister of actor Vanessa Johansson and twin sister to actor Hunter Johansson, and non-actor older half-brother Christian, she graduated from The Professional Children's School in Manhattan in 2002. Though her 7th feature film, in "The Horse Whisperer" she was credited as being introduced.
[edit]

Film career

Her roles include Grace MacLean in The Horse Whisperer; Rebecca in Ghost World; Charlotte in Lost in Translation; Griet in Girl with a Pearl Earring; and Francesca in The Perfect Score. All of these performances garnered positive critical notice. She was nominated for two best actress awards at the Golden Globes in 2003, one for drama (Girl with a Pearl Earring) and one for Lost in Translation. She was also nominated for best actress for both of those films at the BAFTAs, and won best actress for Lost in Translation. Johansson is also the voice of Princess Mindy in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.

Scarlett was invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in June 2004.

Johansson was attached for a short time to the upcoming film Mission: Impossible III but did not join the cast, officially because of scheduling conflicts. It is rumored, however, that a dinner date with Tom Cruise went awry when he brought in several high-ranking Scientologists in an apparent bid to recruit her [2].

Was cast as Rebecca in ensemble indi-esque film Thumbsucker;, but dropped out before filming, presumably in preference for current film Match Point. She was replaced by Kelli Garner.

In July 2005, Johansson starred with Ewan McGregor in the Michael Bay-directed The Island. It was her debut as the female lead in a mainstream action film. She drew some attention when she mentioned that she'd wanted to film the sex scene in the film topless (she hadn't liked the bra the wardrobe department had given her) but director Michael Bay disapproved, wanting to turn in a PG-13 film. When the movie opened to weak reviews and an even weaker box office, the producers of the film accused Johansson of failing to connect or attract a mainstream audience.

On August 19, 2005, Johansson, trailed in her car by four SUVs carrying paparazzi, tried to escape by driving into the Disneyland parking lot in Anaheim, California. Her Mercedes struck a car containing a woman and her two daughters; nobody was injured in the fender bender, which was photographed by the paparazzi.

Johansson was featured in an advertisement campaign for the Calvin Klein perfume "Moment". She has also modeled for the French luxury brand Louis Vuitton.

Her new film Match Point, directed by Woody Allen, opened in December of 2005. Johansson received a Best Supporting Actress Golden Globe nomination for her performance, but the award went to Rachel Weisz for her role in The Constant Gardener.
[edit]

Private life

She has claimed on several occasions to be addicted to cheese, saying "My greatest vice is cheese. Nothing else reigns over my life." (The Observer Magazine December 28 2003)

Johansson has also revealed that she has no problem with her male co-stars seeing her breasts, as she considers them to be her favourite feature. "I'm proud of my girls. They're my charms, my feminine wiles," she said in a January 2005 interview for Harper's Bazaar.

She strongly dislikes when journalists ask about her religion; hence, it is unknown. In Marie Claire (UK) - September 2005 she was asked "Are you religious?" Scarlett answered "That's a very personal question. I would rather not answer." Another occurrence witness is this Quote: "She is really not enjoying this line of questioning. I need to shut it down before I ruin the shidduch." [3]

She is sometimes erroneously credited as Scarlett Johansen or Scarlett Johanssen

#70 Nell McAndrew

Nell McAndrew (born as Tracey McAndrew on November 6, 1973, in Leeds) is a British glamour model.

She started her career as a Page Three girl at the Daily Star, before becoming the official Lara Croft model for the computer game Tomb Raider. In 1999 she posed nude in Playboy magazine (getting herself instantly fired from her Tomb Raider job).

She has continued to model since, and has also had a mildly successful television career, as a presenter on It's a Knockout and The Big Breakfast; she has also been a contestant on the TV reality show I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!.

Nell is a fitness fanatic, and ran the London Marathon in 2003 in an excellent time in order to lose some pounds.

In September 2004, she announced her engagment to long-term partner Paul Hardcastle. They are now married. (She is not married to Dale Winton, contrary to a popular belief started by a spoof BBC documentary.)

She was awarded Rear of the Year in 2005. Following the Great North Run in 2005 announced she was pregnant. In early October 2005, she admitted that her unborn child was too ill to survive so, as a result, she terminated the pregnancy.

#69 Natalia JeanPierre

January 17th 1982 was the first day I saw light. I was born in Phoenix Arizona to a Spanish and French father and Black mother. I lived there for 2 years and then moved with my mom and dad to Bermuda for a few months, then off to Northern California. I was the first-born, my sister Nicole was born 3 years later in Santa Clara California. My mom and dad thought it best that they not be together so when I was 5 they split up. I grew up with my mom during the week and my dad sister and cousins on the weekends, which I think it was a lot better. I can't complain about my childhood, I had the time of my life. With camping trips, fishing, jet skiing, wake boarding, snow skiing, sports, and my cousins and sister there to experience it all with me I pretty much had it made. Ever since I was very young I have always been very independent and learned to take on a lot of responsibility. At the time I thought things weren't always fair but I'm glad that I had to learn the way I did because now I have a different appreciation for things.

I moved around a lot as I grew up but my mom always tried to make sure we could still go to the same schools because making new friends and being in a new school wasn't always the easiest of things. I went to Nimitz Elementary, Morrill Middle and graduated from Piedmont Hills High in San Jose, California. I wish I had a story where I could say that school was so much fun and I made so many great friends......BLAH! School and I don’t mix...yeah I may have learned things in class here and there, but I can't remember the last time I've had to use most of that knowledge. When I was in high school all I kept thinking about is "I can’t wait to be out of this place." The first year or so I hung around a lot of people who at the time I thought were my friends, that was a real slap in the face to learn how fake people can be. The last parts of high school I separated myself from a lot of people and hung out with my best friend at the time. I had more fun just being with him then anyone else. I'm just glad that the whole high school experience is over. After high school I did go to De Anza College for what seemed like an eternity but ended up being 3 years. Since I was about 7 I've always wanted to be an actress, but I just pushed that dream aside and tried to convince myself that if I went to college that maybe something else will come to me. I toyed with the ideas of being a mechanic, lawyer, real estate agent, make up artist and a graphic designer. Adults have always put a lot of pressure on me to "make something of myself." Their idea of something and my idea of something have never seemed to line up. It took me up until I was 21 to figure out that my dream has always been sitting there right in front of my face. Acting is something that I've always wanted to do so why am I not pushing towards that?

Ok so your probably wondering how the hell does modeling tie into any of this? Growing up I constantly heard "you could be a model." I usually just brushed it off and said thanks. When ever I thought of models I just imagined this picture perfect image and that was far from where I saw myself. My mom ended up getting me into the whole idea of actually trying it when I was 14. I never really ended up doing anything big. I just went to a modeling school that taught me absolutely nothing and charged an ass-load of money. Because of that experience I put the whole modeling thing off for a while. Then when I was 16 I was reintroduced into modeling but in a different kind of aspect. A friend got me into the whole import car scene. Ok... I know a lot of people may say "that’s not modeling," and there were many times that I told myself the same thing, but there are many areas in the import scene that are legit and get you into other modeling jobs. It helped me grow into what I am doing today. I pretty much did the whole tradeshow thing for a while but got real tired of it. It wasn’t until I was 21 that I actually started to really push myself and get myself out there with some help from a friend, and from there I started to see actual progress. Modeling is cool for the most part...I get to meet a lot of cool ass people, travel, and be behind the camera. It’s opened some doors for acting opportunities, which is my main goal.

In the near future I plan on moving to the L.A area to pursue a career in acting. I know there is a lot of competition, and there will be some disappointments, but the one thing I don't want to do when I'm older is look back on my life and say I wish I would have done this, or wish I would have done that. What do you have your dreams there for if you never try to make them reality? I'll never know unless I take some kind of risks. I know I wont fail, it may take some time but I'm willing to put in the work...

I've only touched on the surface of who Natalia Monique Jeanpierre is but I hope it tells you a little more about me than you knew 5 minutes ago!
